A shipping document is created in RMS via the Pick ticket, a work order or sales order which is sent to the shipping department. The order is picked, packed, and checked. When the order is ready for shipping, the operator may scan or key the order number into the shipping system automatically calling up the customer from the RMS database with no data entry. The order is then processed, passing the tracking number and actual shipping charges back to the host. Eliminates redundant data entry and proliferates time savings !
