RMS WIC APPLICATION

Orlando Business Solutions has successfully written an application to process WIC transactions. (Women infant Children)

Certain WIC items are flagged in inventory options as food stamp items

• The customer presents the WIC Check at check out, whereby the cashier enters the start date, the end date and the not to exceed amount of the WIC Check.
• The items are then scanned calling up the WIC pricing from the inventory database
• After all the items are scanned the cashier tenders the transaction, then the application checks the total due against the do not exceed amount.
• If the predetermined amount is exceeded the cashier receives a confirmation box asking if they want to adjust the total. If they respond affirmatively RMS will enter a new line item adjusting the total accordingl
• The Wic check is placed in a Epson 6000 printer and validated
